Jean Griffin, the speaker who was prevented from being at Greenfingers Club meeting on Monday evening due to the bad weather, has rung Peter to apologise for her absence. This was understandable, as although the main roads were clear, the side roads were treacherous, and her neck of the woods was particularly bad. Jean is a presenter of the gardening programme on Radio Kent. She will be coming to talk to us at some future date, so we won't miss out.
